Home Sewer Systems
The sewer system in your home uses gravity to get the wastewater out of your home and into the sewer system or a septic tank. Many of these pipes are exposed in your basement but there are "lateral main" pipes that run under your basement floor and then outside. These pipes are usually the first to have problems from deterioration or shifting and settling from the earth around them. To repair them we first locate the issue and then repair it with a new piece of pipe!
Symptoms
Symptoms of breaks in your sewer system piping could be a sewage smell in the basement, water seeping up through the floor, frequent backups, or clogs that a drain cleaner cannot penetrate.
